“On Saturday, May 9th at 5:00 PM – it’s time to send a message
for a peaceful future for Europe!”
If the EU and its national governments want to lead us into a war against Russia, they are betraying all the basic European principles of peace, democracy, freedom and international understanding! That is why we, the citizens of Europe, are taking the future of this wonderful continent into our own hands! We are hereby launching the European Peace Project. On May 9, 2026 at 5 pm, let us all simultaneously proclaim PEACE in all countries on the European continent and in all European languages with a performative speech act from our windows, on our balconies and in our squares! Then let’s celebrate!
You can already find the text of the proclamation here in numerous languages. If your national or local language (Catalan, Gaelic, Alsatian …) is missing: please send us the translation! You are welcome to change the proclamation text individually (omit or add something). Then please add your own “Responsible in terms of the press law”.
Join our peace campaign and register in the contact form, then we will keep you up to date with all the plans and activities.

In addition to enthusiasm, commitment and creativity, this also requires some money, which is why we ask that everyone who registers here and takes part donates at least €1.
You can take part in the European Peace Project as an individual or as an organisation. Over the next few weeks, everyone who registers will receive a dove of peace on an interactive map of Europe to show that you, your city and your village are also taking part – from Dublin to Thessaloniki and from Lisbon to Helsinki, right across Europe and across the continent to Moscow and beyond!
There will also be a feature here on the site where you can post planned activities in your town or find other participants in your neighbourhood so you can join forces for this action!
In our ‘Art Work’ section, we offer you artistic templates for posters, T-shirts, stickers, buttons or flags that you can print yourself in a copy shop or order online to advertise the European Peace Project over the next few weeks: on bus stops, trees, advertising pillars, walls or as posters in your shop…
The basic idea of opening the window on 9 May at 5 pm and reading out the Manifesto for Peace can be creatively expanded by you with actions, art, performances, happenings or flash mobs: you are the actors of the European Peace Project and you shape the idea according to your ideas!
Please film or photograph yourself at the proclamation, at the window or in your marketplace, and then send us the pictures/videos. We will republish them in a digital gallery on this website after May 9, 2026, to document that the citizens of Europe are for peace and not for war!

Los pacifistas europeos, especie en peligro de extinción y difamada como “putinófila”, han decidido por fin movilizarse contra el rearme que tratan de impoer los gobiernos y la Comisión de Ursula von der Leyen.
Lo harán en varios países del continente el próximo 9 de mayo, ochenta años después del final de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, que costó la vida a 60 millones de personas, 27 de ellas ciudadanos soviéticos.
La URSS fue el país que, en su lucha contra la Alemania nazi y demás fascismos europeos, soportó las mayores pérdidas humanas, algo que ahora muchos se resisten hoy a reconocer.
El llamado Proyecto de Paz Europeo, surgido por iniciativa de la conocida politóloga alemana Ulrike Guérot, y al que se han sumado ciudadanos de distintos países, es quien convoca esas manifestaciones.
Se trata de continuación de un proceso que comenzó con la publicación en la red alemana OpenPetition de un “llamamiento a a favor de la paz y el desarme” que, aunque silenciado por los medios públicos, lleva recogidas hasta ahora cerca de 4.000 firmas.

Mit Beethoven zum Weltfrieden

Vor 200 Jahren – im März 1825 – erklang in London die 1824 in Wien uraufgeführte 9. Symphonie Op. 125-D Moll von Ludwig van Beethoven, womit das geniale Meisterwerk Weltruhm erlangte. Im 4. Satz, nach Schillers “Ode an die Freude” komponiert, singt ein Chor das Europäische Friedensmotto “Alle Menschen werden Brüder”.
Als Evolutionsbiologe & Musiker, sowie Mitglied des “European Peace Project” und der “Friedenstaube” habe ich eine Piano-Solo-Kompaktversion von Beethovens “Friedenskomposition” erstellt und professionell aufgenommen. Diese “Joy Phantasy” wird seither weltweit via Streaming-Plattformen, wie Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube Music usw. verbreitet, siehe:

Das Musikstück soll mein Motto “Mit Beethoven zum Weltfrieden” zum Ausdruck bringen.
Als Evolutionsforscher werde ich mich noch im Detail zur Frage äußern, ob der Mensch von Natur aus ein “Kriegstier” oder eher friedfertig ist, und wie wir gemeinsam eine “Beethoven’sche” Friedens-Agenda gestalten können.

European Peace Project #2, October 3rd 2025 @ 5 p.m.
On October 3rd at 5 p.m., it will once again be time to take a stand: the genocide and illegal occupation in Palestine must end
With a new, second manifesto, we hereby launch a major mobilisation for peace and freedom for Palestine. On Friday, October 3rd at 5 p.m., let us – as we did on May 9th– proclaim a manifesto for Palestine simultaneously in all countries on the European continent and, if possible, throughout the world, in dozens of languages, with a performative speech act from our windows, on our balconies, in our squares and at the large demonstrations that will take place in many cities on that day.
On October 3rd, let us bring together civil society across Europe in resistance against injustice, displacement, genocide and war. Pressure must be exerted on all governments that support the right-wing extremist Israeli government militarily, politically and economically. . Even though some Western governments have recently called for a ceasefire and humanitarian aid, it is difficult to predict what will happen between now and 3 October 2025.A sustainable peace solution with equal rights for all people living between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea is needed.
The text of the proclamation is already available here in numerous languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese and Persian. If your national or regional language (Catalan, Gaelic, Bavarian or Alsatian, etc.) is missing, please send us the translation, as you did last time! As on 9 May, you are welcome to vary the text of the proclamation, modify it individually, i.e. omit or add something, set it to music, rewrite it as a poem or whatever else you can think of artistically: it is the template for the proclamation! If you change our text, please remember to add your own VisdP underneath.
You are welcome to use our manifesto for reading at the Anti-War Day events (1 September 2025 in Germany, 21 September 2025 internationally). In any case, these are excellent opportunities to promote the European Peace Project and our action on October 3rd.
Join us at our peace action for Palestine on October 3rd 2025, just like you did at the successful proclamation on May 9th! With these proclamations, we want to send a signal that European citizens are aware of their shared responsibility for the wars in this world and that Europe as a peace project is not limited to its own continent!

Bis August 2025 sind nach offiziellen Zahlen des Gaza Gesundheitsministeriums 62.232 Menschen in Gaza durch Israel getötet worden, 20.030 davon waren Kinder.
Diese Opferzahl von ist leider eine unvollständige Ziffer, denn es werden nur die identifizierbaren und direkten Toten erfasst. Alle Menschen, die unter dem Schutt begraben liegen, in Angriffen verbrannt sind oder durch indirekte Ursachen verstorben sind, werden nicht in dieser Zahl ausgedrückt. Schätzungen der tatsächlichen Opferzahl zeichnen ein finsteres Bild. Francesca Albanese beispielsweise, UN- Sonderberichterstatterin für Palästina, ging von einer Gesamt-Opferzahl zwischen 386.000-440.000 nur bis Ende 2024 aus. Ich freue mich sehr über die Veröffentlichung im Rahmen des European Peace Project, sodass möglichst viele Menschen auch von den Opfern erfahren. Venetzungen sind so wichtig, um endlich gehört zu werden und entsprechend Druck auf die europäischen Regierungen auszuüben: wider dem Vergessen! Stop the genocide! Sanction Israel!

Sehr geehrte Verfasserinnen und Verfasser des Manifests,
mit Respekt für Ihre Bemühungen und Ihren Einsatz für Gerechtigkeit – doch darf ich Sie fragen: Ist es nicht längst zu spät?
Es gibt kaum noch Kinder, die in jenem hypothetischen Staat, den Sie sich für Palästina erträumen, aufwachsen und eine lebenswerte Zukunft gestalten könnten. Gaza ist heute nichts als Asche, bedeckt von den Leichnamen zehntausender Menschen. Trump und Netanjahu träumen bereits davon, dort ein „Riviera“ für ihre Vergnügungskultur zu errichten – auf den Ruinen eines ausgelöschten Volkes.
Und Sie wissen ebenso gut wie ich: Mit solch heuchlerischer Führung in Europa und den geldverliebten Blinden in den USA wird ein Staat namens Palästina niemals zugelassen werden. Und wenn doch – dann höchstens in Form eines streng kontrollierten, entrechteten Kantons, abgeschnitten von der Außenwelt.
Leider ist unsere Welt zu einem gesetzlosen Dschungel verkommen, in dem das „Recht des Stärkeren“ herrscht – und die Schwachen zermalmt werden. Es gibt keine wirklich unabhängigen Institutionen mehr, die für Ausgleich, Gerechtigkeit oder die Eindämmung von Exzessen sorgen könnten. Kapital und Geld beherrschen alles – überall, jeden Menschen, jedes System.
Doch dies ist nicht das Ende. Die unipolare Weltordnung zeigt nun ihr wahres, hässliches Gesicht – und sie zerfällt. Bewusste, aufrichtige Menschen stehen auf, immer mehr, und sie werden sich nicht länger beugen. Wir sind nicht allein. Wir werden mehr – Tag für Tag – und wir werden die Dunkelheit überwinden.
Unsere Aufgabe ist es, das wahre Gesicht jener herrschenden Eliten zu entlarven – jener, die ohne jegliches Gewissen und ohne moralische Skrupel die Menschlichkeit mit Füßen treten, während sie dies zynisch „Menschenrechte“ nennen.
