On November 22, we will be participating in a European citizens’ peace conference in Portugal, as well as the Alternative WEF in Prague.

We are pursuing this great dream of a new peaceful union of Europe (the continent) as an independent actor, non-aligned, neutral, and as a bridge between East and West. While others are tearing down, we want to move forward and start building now. That is why we want to bring together the four elements: science, culture, economy, and politics.
It is high time to think fundamentally about a political, societal, social, economic, strategic, and institutional redesign of Europe beyond the EU and to develop programmatic ideas for the promotion of a sovereign political entity Europe, which in turn can find its place within a multipolar world. We strive for a European democracy based on the general Polish principle of equality for all European citizens. For us, Europe is a “force for peace”: decentralized, subsidiary, regional, social, neutral, post-colonial, and post-imperial, committed to a global peace order, diplomacy, and the global balance of power. Europe must redefine its role in the world in the 21st century! This role can only be found by rediscovering European history and culture. We want to prevent a “national regression” in the face of multiple crises in Europe and are striving for a fundamental rethinking of Europe’s political structures, both internally and externally.

4. Event entry function – also for local meetings during the winter:
We repeatedly receive requests for contacts for groups or local meetings. We understand this need and the necessity for exchange, networking, action planning, and discussion on site. We ourselves cannot afford to organize or coordinate this, but we can make our “Enter event” function available on our website during the winter so that you can use our site not only to announce the next event on May 9, but also to enter dates for meetings, discussion groups, or local actions that you organize yourselves. Simply suggest a location (café, village square, or your living room) and a time when you would like to host a meeting. The meeting should be related to the European Peace Project, peace, and the peaceful reorganization of Europe—then we will add it as an event to our interactive map so that people in your area can find it.

Deterrence and armament do not bring security, but lead to war!
We must develop a peaceful alternative for Europe with good neighborly relations between all countries!
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov also spoke in this vein at the 3rd International Minsk Conference on Eurasian Security.
Russia has no intention of attacking countries of the European Union and NATO, and Moscow is prepared to enshrine this in future security guarantees. Among the speakers was his colleague from NATO member Hungary. Lavrov emphasized that Russia has repeatedly stated that it has no intention of attacking any of the current countries of the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance. Russia is ready to enshrine its non-aggression policy toward the EU and NATO in future security guarantees.
“We are ready to enshrine this position in future security guarantees for this part of Eurasia, but the leaders of the European Union are deviating from considering these future guarantees on a truly collective basis,” Lavrov said.
According to him, NATO is also turning its attention to other regions of Eurasia: the South Caucasus, Central and South Asia. “The legitimate question arises: if this is the general trend, do we want our entire vast, beautiful continent to become NATO’s domain? We cannot agree to that. Under the new conditions, in which all countries, their economies, and their overall stability are interdependent, there is no need for Cold War-style bloc thinking, but rather a fundamentally different philosophy of inter-state cooperation. Life itself is pushing us to create a new order in our geographical space in the spirit of multipolarity and multilateralism,” the minister emphasized.
He noted that genuine collective security cannot be limited to the interests of a small group of chosen ones. “No country, no group of countries, and no organization should claim regional hegemony. Unfortunately, NATO is doing just that,” Lavrov said.

Democracy and freedom are not threatened by Russia and are certainly not defended by a corrupt Ukrainian government riddled with Nazis. Our democracy and freedom are endangered by the armament and war preparations of our own and EU governments, which are leading to ever greater restrictions on civil liberties.
We have a structural democratic deficit, because sovereignty must come from the people, while EU governments represent only a minority of the population and know full well that at least one-third of the population will not support their preparations for war. They are no longer even attempting to engage in domestic political dialogue or debate in order to bring the large minority on board.
Instead, after exclusion, defamation, canceling, professional bans, and restrictions on fundamental civil and civil liberties, the government is now even discussing a “state of emergency,” which practically means martial law, in order to push ahead with the authoritarian militaristic restructuring of the state.
