Dear friends of peace,

The European Peace Project community is constantly growing. On the interactive map you cansee how much more we are growing every day and how many new countries are joining. We have already distributed 1000s of flyers at the Easter marches and will also use the 1 May demonstrations for this purpose.

But we still need at least 10 times as many to really be able to oppose the war course of most EU governments. We can do this if each and every one of you helps, because we still have two weeks until 9 May.

  • exponential dissemination is particularly feasible via your social media channels: if possible,
post something daily on your profile with the #euroepanpeaceproject in connection with our
project and or share our posts from the pages of our social media presence – you can currently find the most on Facebook or X
    Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61574946140983
    X: https://x.com/EuropeoDePaz
    We are now also on
    Linkedin https://www.linkedin.com/company/106858951/
    Instagram https://www.instagram.com/europeanpeaceproject/
    Tiktok https://www.tiktok.com/@european.peace.pr
We are also happy to receive likes and comments here. Another way to generate reach is if you address our posts or your own posts about the project to people or pages with many followers in the comments under their posts, also with #europeanpeaceproject and a link to our website. You are also welcome to contact well-known actors, singers, other artists or news magazines who you think might be close to our cause.
Please also specifically ask young people (under 30) from your family or circle of acquaintances to spread our social media pages and posts in their networks and let them give you tips on how best to do this 😉.
  • it is now also possible to add events, vigils etc. in your location to the interactive map if you
are planning something bigger to read out the manifesto together with others on 9 May at 17.00 – so that everyone from the same location can find you – simply use the button on the start page.
You can stage our performative speech act with the reading of the manifesto at typical
national monuments particularly well, e.g. in front of the
    Eiffel Tower in Paris
Colosseum in Rome, Duomo in Milan
    Acropolis in Athens
Place de Berlaymont Brussels or in front of the European Parliament
Brandenburg Gate Berlin, Cologne Cathedral, Hambach Castle
    Kehl – Strasbourg bridge
    Bridge Frankfurt Oder – Szczecin
    Tower in London
Sagrada Fmilia or Ramblas in Barcelona
    Hofburg Palace, Ballhausplatz in Vienna
Charles Bridge with city gate/ Hradschin in Prague
    Old town of Sibiu
    Blackheads House in Riga
Church of the Resurrection in St. Petersburg
    Red Square Moscow
    Hagia Sophia Istanbul
    e.t.c.
Have your photo taken at the reading of the manifesto and your action to capture this historic moment and send us the photos to document it.
  • it is also very important for us to find more participants and contact persons in South East
Europe and the Baltic States Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Please ask around if anyone knows someone who knows someone and spread the word about our project there too. Working together internationally, in all countries of the European continent, is one focus of our project. The second is the artistic aspect.
  • in order to be able to post and immortalise all the wonderful productions from you on 9 May
with the reading of the manifesto accompanied by so much art and wonderfully creative actions that we have already heard about for everyone after 9 May in a gallery on the website, we still need donations – even if they are only small amounts. https://europeanpeaceproject.eu/spende/
  • the media dissemination of our project is also picking up speed. Here are a few examples: .
Interview with Ulrike Guerot: Not only does it wonderfully describe our European Peace Project (from min. 16) and why it is so important for the people of all European countries to work together now in the appeal for peace and against armament, but also all the connections behind it that have led us into the current highly dangerous situation. Europe is the cradle of diplomacy, of enlightenment, of humanism! We must NEVER AGAIN sacrifice this to war-mongering and re-armament!

Manova calls us ‘The resurrection of a peace project’ and documents Ulrike’s speech at the
    peace walk in Dresden: https://www.manova.news/artikel/auferstehung-eines-friedensprojekts?fbclid=I
Here is also a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KarwcXKmD3E
there is a discussion round, also on the zum #europeanpeacproject with Peter van Stigt in Dutch

  • Of course, our peace efforts must continue after 9 May through dialogue, reconciliation of
interests and common security. There are already some ideas for this besides the gallery.
The next day, 10 May 2025, we will continue in concrete terms: in cooperation with the
Academia Libera Mentis https://liberamentis.org/ and our European Peace Project, the opening of the ‘School of Peace’ department will take place at Chateau Hodboment.
    Saturday, 10 May 2025, 10:00 – 18:00h
Speakers: Erika Turkstra, Director of Academia Libera Mentis, Kees v/d Pijl, political scientist,
Ulrike Guerot, Isabelle Casel, Paul Frijters etc.
Location: Château de Hodbomont, Theux, Belgiën
Contribution: €150 (Special contribution of €20 for under 30s) There will be coffee/tea, lunch and drinks.

kind regards
Isabelle
