Dear friends of peace,
Thank you very much for registering with us here and for taking part in our peace campaign! We will keep you up to date with all our plans and activities.
Thank you very much for registering with us here and for taking part in our peace campaign! We will keep you up to date with all our plans and activities.
Our European Peace Project is receiving a lot of wonderful encouragement. This makes us very happy, but at the same time presents us with new challenges, as the website is already reaching its technical limits and needs some extensions to be able to manage and address all the people who register. We are working on making the website more stable and also on further translations of our manifesto and the interactive map.
A video and jingle have been added to the homepage and under the heading ‘Artwork’ https://europeanpeaceproject.eu/artwork/ you will now find a large number of artistic templates with QR codes for posters, T-shirts, stickers, buttons or flags that you can print yourself in a copy shop or order online to promote the European Peace Project in the coming weeks: on bus stops, trees, advertising pillars, on walls or as posters in your shop…’ One supporter has even designed flyers and leaflets for us.
We have already been able to set up our own successful social media presences on X and facebook – feel free to follow us there too:
https://twitter.com/EuropeoDePaz
and

more to follow.
In this context, we would like to advertise a 500€ internship position as a Social Media Advisor to support and expand the social media presence of the European Peace Project. Do you stand behind our campaign, our manifesto and for peace through international understanding and diplomacy and are you personally committed to it? Are you young (or young at heart) and at home in the world of Tiktok, Instagram, X, facebook or linkedin etc.? Then send us your application to [email protected]. We will also issue an internship certificate. Your task would be to fill all the social media platforms of the European Peace Project with life by 9 May, create content independently, answer questions from users, generate reach and spread the word about our project and our performative speech act on 9 May at 17:00.
Please help us to make this project big and meaningful and even more widely known.
In addition to enthusiasm, commitment and creativity, this also requires some money. We therefore ask that everyone who registers and participates here donates at least €1. https://europeanpeaceproject.eu/spende/
We are also looking for volunteer country contacts for 42 European countries – we already have Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Norway and Portugal.
We receive wonderful letters from supporters – many thanks to all those who offer us their help! The painter Martin Müller has offered to sell an XXL-formative painting of his in an auction in favour of the European Peace Project. You will soon find the auction on our homepage.
Later we will also offer the originals of the artwork of our historical campaign by Regina Bender for auction here on the site.
We are thrilled that our project seems to inspire many artists to work on this topic. After 9 May, when you hopefully send us lots of pictures or videos of your manifesto reading/staging/action/performance etc., we want to set up a gallery on the website in which we want to draw particular attention to the art created or used in connection with the European Peace Project.
We can also see that our project is in tune with the spirit of the times and can be significant for the future of all of us in Europe from the fact that we are hearing about many initiatives with similar objectives in European countries. We want to provide mutual support here.
For example, the ‘Dove of Peace’ project, for which Ulrike Guerot has also written about our European Peace Project:

For example, there was a large demonstration in Rome on 15 March 2025 under the slogan ‘No euro for their war’ https://peoplesdispatch.org/2025/03/20/movement-against-increased-military-spending-grows-in-italy/ by trade unions, student organisations and left-wing parties, among others
There is this important initiative https://stoprearm.org/ where you can also sign up or the Spanish Manifesto ‘We will not put up with rearmament and war in Europe’ by over 800 Spanish civil society organisations and individuals, including our Spanish contacts Joaquin and Alberto from 26 March 2025 https://forms.komun.org/manifiesto-contra-el-rearme-y-la-guerra-en-europa.
Our European Peace Project was also picked up in the “Nachdenkseiten”: ‘We want peace with Russia and the Russian citizens!’ The motto of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony ‘All men become brothers’, which is the European anthem, also applies to our European fellow citizens in Russia!
